Every day across North America UA members are involved in community projects and a whole host of charitable activities that support families and those in need, regardless of union affiliation.
This generosity exemplifies what is best about the UA—the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood that is the true heart of the UA.

Cole WATTS
Son of Dan Watts, Local 398
Cole has just had a Major Spinal Surgery. He was diagnosed with Scheuermann kyphosis a few years back, which is a very debilitating Spinal Disease, which limits his movement, and times causes severe pain, which is almost unmanageable with pain meds or injections, or epidural. Yesterday at St Josephs Hospital, he had a Posterior Spinal Instrumented Fusion procedure done. Basically, a Metal Rod in his spine with many Screws. The Surgery went well but Cole has a long road to recovery. It will take about 1 year for him to get 80% heeled, and Months of Physical Therapy. We are putting together a nice care package for Cole when he comes home from the hospital. I have been approached by many asking if they can help, so If anyone would like to donate, we welcome any contributions you would like to make to his care package. Thoughts and prayers are also welcome.
